Considered as one of the most talented singers of the ‘70s with such hits as Rose Garden, songbird Lynn Anderson was the first female country music artist to receive an American Music Award and Record World Artist of the Decade. However, she was arrested two times for driving while intoxicated and got strapped with DUI. She later had to spend money on a rehab center for treatment. Thanks to her role in the film Grease, singer Olivia Newton-John rose to prominence and became a star. Even before that, she was already a successful country singer and won a Grammy for Best Country Female. Happily married to John Easterling, she still performs in concerts and world tours. After successfully fighting cancer several years ago, Newton-John became involved in charity work, health awareness, and health products. A member of her family’s singing group The Osmonds, Marie Osmond became popular as a solo country music artist, thanks to her hit song, Paper Roses.
