Heck, we can’t even squeeze some time to do the things we want and pursue our passions and dreams. How much more if we include our family and friends to our equation?

Plan and Prioritize
One of the main reasons why we feel like we don’t have enough time to do all the things we want is because our list of tasks seems never-ending. While it’s true, the truth is, you will always have some time for yourself. The problem is that you don’t even realize it because your hands are always full, either at work or in your personal life. So what should be the remedy of that?
The remedy to that is to declutter your life. You need to list down and prioritize all the day’s activities in the morning or during the day before. What projects or tasks need to be done daily? That’s your work, right? Allocate your working hours to them. In your personal life, do your parents need to be visited weekly or monthly? Allocate some day to them. Admittedly, hanging with your parents for a day wouldn’t hurt, would it?
Whatever your situation is, try to work on your schedule. Prioritized the important thing first. This way, you’ll be surprised by how much free time you have.
Talk to you employer
You need to realize that as long as you live, there’ll always be work to be done. Even when you resign or retire, work will still be there. That’s why it’s important to gauge your priorities at times.
Never overwork or exhaust yourself with work. If you feel that you’re to overloaded with projects and tasks to even find a chance to rest, you need to take a break. You don’t have to always say yes to your employer. Talk to them in a respectful civil way and request them to reallocate some project up to your teammates. Tell them that you hardly get any time for your family and social life. For sure, your employer would understand that.
Being prepared before walking into your supervisor’s office not only shows that you take your situation seriously, but also shows that you don’t want possible disruptions to affect your productivity.
Reach out to your family and friends
If you feel overwhelmed with everything, it’s time for you to reach out to your family and friends. Ask them about their opinion. Do they miss you? Do they feel neglected? Also, ensure that you give your part.
Make them understand that you want to catch up with them, but you’re having some difficulty in finding some time in between. Together, try to come up with a win-win solution. Communication is paramount.
