We have seen a lot of talented football stars compete at the FIFA World Cup. Their successful football careers truly made them set for life that we bet only an arrest or scandal can stain the hard work they’ve done in their respective careers. Some players gained so many fans because of how good they played on the field while others have become respectable football coaches after they decided to retire. Here are some of the most famous  World Cup legends and let’s see what they’ve been up to these days.

Pelé – Brazil

Pelé is referred to by many as one of the best football players in history. He was only 16 years old when he became a part of the national team of Brazil and he was able to win the FIFA World Cup thrice. He had three marriages that all ended in a divorce and a number of children from different affairs.

Zinedine Zidane – France

Zinedine Zidane used to play for the French national team and he helped the team win the World Cup back in 1998. He was a talented player who was able to bag the title of FIFA World Player of the Year thrice. Even after retiring, Zidane was able to grow an impressive portfolio by serving as a football coach. He’s been happily married since 1994 so it looks like he wouldn’t be seeing any divorce law firms ever.

Roger Milla – Cameroon

Cameroon player Roger Milla is quite different from the others on this list because he was already in his late 30s when he was achieving big things in his football carer. He’s known for being the oldest player to score a goal in the World Cup. He also makes sure he’s well-involved in charity and is known for being the itinerant ambassador for a number of African causes. In his mid-60s, it’s likely that Milla has been able to secure for himself a nice seniors’ insurance to cover him in his remaining years.
