Famous or Infamous?
Danielle Bregoli, also known as Bhad Bhabie, became famous (or rather, infamous) for her appearance on the Dr. Phil episode entitled “I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me For A Crime” in September 2016. Still doesn’t ring a bell? She’s the “Cash Me Ousside How Bout Dah” girl. Remember her now? The wild and ridiculous episode along with Bregoli’s attitude was so amusing to the audience, that they just couldn’t contain their laughter at the 14-year-old girl. After appearing on the show, she became somewhat of an internet celebrity because of her attitude and her signature catchphrase “Catch me outside, how about that?” (Often transliterated as “Cash Me Ousside How Bout Dah”) which she first said when she threatened to fight the audience. Her catchphrase became an internet meme and catapulted her into internet celebrity status.
Music Career
DJ Suede The Remix God recorded Bregoli’s appearance on the show and her signature catchphrase and edited it into a single which was able to enter the Billboard Hot 100,Streaming Songs, and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts in March 2017. The single started an internet dance craze, which people posted videos of them dancing to the song on YouTube. Bregolli then went on to release her own single called “These Heaux” on August 26, 2017, which surprisingly went on to reach number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100, which made her the youngest female rap artist to debut on the music chart. Who would have thought that she would be able to become an artist, and a pretty popular one. We all hope that this is just a sick joke and that this isn’t the future of the music industry.
The Signing a Record Deal With Atlantic Records
Due to the success of her debut single “These Heaux”, Danielle Bregoli was able to land a multi-album recording contract with Atlantic Records that is reported to be worth millions. She signed the contract with her rapper name Bhad Bhabie, so she’s really serious about using that name. She has been steadily gaining more and more social media followers, and doing multiple appearances on TV that has made her even more famous and earn her even more money. She has recently done a remix of the Kodak Black song “Roll In Peace” and Tee Grizzley and Lil Yachty song “From the D to the A” which shockingly, has been really successful. We just can’t grasp the concept on why would any record label decide to sign an artist like her. It seems the music industry is on a steady decline. Here’s a photo of her after signing the multi-million dollar deal which make her even richer and even more famous. Why do we make people like them famous?
Steady Rise to Fame and Fortune
In September 22, 2017, Danielle Bregoli aka Bhad Bhabie, released her new single “Hi Bich” and then just a day after she released another single called “Whachu Know.” In just around 24 hours, the music video received over a million views. Her publicist has mentioned that the price to do photo-ops with Bhad Bhabie will be $30,000 per event if it’s in the United States and a minimum of $40,000 if it’s an overseas appearance. She has a real classy choice for song titles, doesn’t she?
