Congolese Beheading Sword

Few people would ever think that a sword used to beheading people could be worth thousands. This dreadful blade belonged to a tribe’s chief in the African Nation of Congo, and it amazingly dates back to the mid-1800s. Having three arches, the once sharp sword must have been terrifying when it was used. The tribe’s enemies probably trembled at its sight, and its original owner sure never imagined that almost two centuries later, someone would sell it to refinance himself. While it was once used to cut heads, it was now used to help someone pay for his online mortgage.
