In 1949, US President Harry S. Truman appointed a new US General Attorney, and that was no other than J. Howard McGrath. Just three years later, a huge investigation regarding corruption charges started in his department. When McGrath didn’t want to be a part of it, he had no other option but to resign. Although he left the department, his secret identity card was left intact. A man wanted to boost his credit report perhaps, so he decided to sell it to Pawn Stars. He had managed to obtain more money than expected, as the identity contained a counterfeit dollar with McGrath’s friends’ signatures on it.
