James Stewart 1942 Vs. 1965
James Stewart is one of the oldest stars on our list, and his 1942 Oscars appearance was marked by the dark age of WWII. That was why he wore an Army Uniform after all, as he also served in the US Army as a Brigadier General. Withal, his 1965 outfit was much different, the dark times of war were behind and he rocked his posh black tuxedo with a black bow tie. His contribution to Hollywood’s Golden Era was tremendous, and the legacy he had left behind is unforgettable. Imagine that despite his participation in WWII and the Vietnam War, he starred in more than 90 movies. He passed away in 1997, with a $30-million fortune at the time.
