It’s a common sight to see several collectors attend auctions to acquire collectible items, and after they buy them, they unexpectedly find a new detail about their purchase which massively adds up to the items’ value. That’s the case of one collector who purchased a really old copy of the classic book Dracula during an auction. After he got home, he was shocked to find that Bram Stocker, the book’s writer, had signed the book on one of its pages. Thinking that its value could help him pay his taxes for the whole year, he brought it to the pawn shop and added $2.350K to his bank account. However, it’s estimated to be worth around $4K.
